Spacious room with good ventilation and trendy drink options nearby. Breakfast featured a fresh selection of fruits and pastries for a satisfying start to the day.
Narrow stairs lead up to the rooms, which may be a bother if you're dragging heavy bags. The bathroom sink lacked space for basic tasks like brushing teeth due to a glass shelf above it, making it a bit awkward. The noise from the main road can be a nuisance for light sleepers, especially during busy times, while a lack of standard beer options in the bar was a letdown for a nightcap.

missingWrote a review on 10 Julgreat locationtasty breakfastfriendly staffstreet noisehot roomconfusing check-in
The location of the Black Fox is unbeatable, right in the heart of Bath. I enjoyed the spacious and updated room, a perfect haven after exploring the city. The breakfast offered a variety of tasty options, making mornings delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive, particularly the woman at breakfast, who ensured everyone was taken care of. I did face some issues. The room got quite hot, even with the fan running, which made it uncomfortable at night. There was also noise from the street that disturbed my sleep. I had a confusing check-in experience regarding the bar's availability. it was closed earlier than expected, leaving me without a place to grab a drink after dinner. Parking proved to be another hassle, as finding a nearby spot wasn't easy, and I had to walk quite a distance to the venue. Despite these setbacks, the quirky decor and overall atmosphere made my stay enjoyable.

The location of Black Fox was outstanding, being within walking distance to The Forum and Thermae Bath Spa. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast offered a West Country special, made with fresh local ingredients and was plentiful. Having access to Netflix and Prime on the TV was a lovely bonus after a long day of work.
The absence of a lift was inconvenient due to the many stairs, and a grab handle in the shower would enhance safety.
